Installing Router Hardware

ADSL Models



 

Before starting to configure the router, you have to connect your devices
correctly.
1. Connect the DSL interface to the external ADSL splitter with an ADSL line cable. The connection won't work if you put ADSL cable on the Line port or Phone ports. Make sure you put in the DSL port.
2. Connect one port of 4-port switch to your computer with a RJ-45 cable.
3. Connect the power
4. Connect the telephone sets to FXS1 or FXS2 ports if required (VoIP function on V models).
5. Power on the router.
6. Check the ACT LED to assure network connections.

Caution: Each of the FXS ports can be connected to an analog phone only.
Do not connect the FXS ports to the telephone wall jack. This connection might
damage your router.

 

Dual WAN Models


 

 

Before starting to configure the router, you have to connect your devices

1. Connect External Cable/DSL modem to the WAN port with an Ethernet cable
2. Connect one port of 4-port switch to your computer with a RJ-45 cable.
3. Connect the power
4. Connect the telephone sets to FXS1 or FXS2 ports if required (VoIP function onvV models).
5.Power on the router.
6. Check the ACT LED to assure network connections.
Caution: Each of the FXS ports can be connected to an analogue phone only. Do
not connect the FXS ports to the telephone wall jack. This connection might
damage your router
