Scheduling Automatic Reboot of Vigor3300

Vigor3300 running firmware version 2.6.3 (EN) supports scheduled rebooting of the router.  Telnet system command to use is “autoreboot”

Command syntax is:

DrayTek/system> autoreboot ?

Full Name:

   auto reboot function

Description:

Syntax:

   autoreboot -s                                (Show status)

   autoreboot -e <Enable>

   autoreboot -t <Hours>

Parameters:

   <Enable>                                         (0: Disable, 1: Enable)

   <Hours>                                          (Number of hours)

DrayTek/system>

 

For example to reboot router every 24 hours use the following telnet commands:

System

autoreboot –e 1

Do not reboot router when prompted

autoreboot –t 24

Now reboot router to enable changes.

After router rebooted you can log into the router to check the settings using the command:

 autoreboot –s
