(This solution works for the 2820Vn router)

Question

I need to send *21xxxxxxxxxx# and #21# sequence to set up the

VOIP Dialplan to enable and disable Telstra call diversion on the PSTN line.

Since # is a special character for VOIP, is there a way to dial a number that includes #?

Answer

Telnet to the router and enter the following command:

voip sip misc –s 1    (vo si mi –s 1)

To view the current settings, use the following command:

oip sip misc –v

The router can send # as a character
