Transferring a Call Using a Cordless Panasonic Analogue Phone
Posted by on 13 February 2012 04:54 PM

Question:
I connected a PSTN phone (Panasonic cordless) to the phone connector of
VigorIPPBX 2820 and it works fine.

However if I take a call on the PSTN phone I do not know how to transfer
the call to another phone as there is no hold and transfer buttons.

Is it possible to hold and transfer calls from the PSTN phone connected to
phone connection? Is there any sequence like # that would do these
functions?

Answer:

On the Panasonic phone there is usually a "R" button.
Press the "R" button to place the call on hold and the caller will hear music on hold.
Then dial the extension number and press # to transfer the call.
When the other party answers, hang up the cordless phone and the caller will now be transferred to the other extension.
