How to resolve dyndns not working on 2860n+

Question

I have setup a dyndns address and ensured I have the right username and password and the address is setup correctly at dyndns

However I keep getting the following error message and am unable to get dynamic DNS to work.

Solution

DYN.com now use client key as the password for hardware ddns client (eg. Draytek routers)

Do not enter your account password in router's ddns settings, but use the client key.

To get the client key, log into your DYN.COM account.

Go to "Account Settings" section in your DYN.COM account. The client key will be shown here.

The Client key is a 32 bytes string.

Enter the 32 Byte Client key in the Password section in Applications >> Dynamic DNS Setup >> Dynamic DNS Account Setup configuration page.
